Harden Felt Filter Cylinders
Cylindrical filters are made of resin treated polyester felt and are cured in an oven. The oven curing helps to provide rigidity, making these filters self-supporting. There is no need for support screen or springs with this type of filter. They remain solid on their own. These can be made in a variety of micron ratings. However, the most common pore size is 40 microns for this particular type of oil coalescing filter.
